Over 100 needy children receive vocational training
The ministries of education, and labor and human welfare, in collaboration
with partners offered a year-long vocation training in Mendefera to 119
needy children, out of whom 82 are females.

Hima opens free ARVs clinic in Kasese

THE Health Ministry has commended Hima Cement for providing free
anti-retroviral therapy (ARVs)to its employees and residents of Kasese.

EA experts to feature in global Aids meet

Two Kenyans will be among the 16 featured speakers at the international Aids
conference taking place this week in Canada. Their role highlights East
Africa's emergence as a key region in the global effort to stem the epidemic
