3,000 get ARVs
At least 3,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in the district will access
antiretroviral drugs under the Uganda Cares centre at Masaka Hospital .
Senior nursing officer Grace Katete said 2,600 clients had started ARV
treatment. She warned patients to stick to their treatment timetables,
saying distorting the schedule affects the body resistance. She urged
parents to strictly supervise their children on treatment.

Unicef earmarks sh500b for north
THE UN children's agency, Unicef, has earmarked US$296m (about sh544b) for
