PLan donates school equipment to orphans
Plan International (T) through an NGO for Children, Youth and Women Network
(CHIYOWONET) has extended various items worth 12m/- to more than 400 pupils
from ten schools in Dar es Saalam Region.

2.2 million-Nakfa social service institutions constructed in Foro sub-zone
A kindergarten and water supply projects have been implemented in Zula
administrative area, Foro sub-zone, at a cost of 2.2 million Nakfa. The
1.5-million Nakfa kindergarten which comprises two classrooms, an office,
bathroom, and toilet is expected to provide pre-schooling to more than 120
children.

70,000 people accessing free ARVs, says Malinga

OVER 70,000 people are accessing free anti-retroviral treatment, surpassing
a target of 60,000, health minister Stephen Malinga has said.

Frw 85m for MINEDUC's Aids testing programme

The national Multi Sectoral Aids Project (MAP) has injected a whooping
US$150,000 in the Ministry of Education to assist in a national campaign
against HIV/Aids in the education sector.
