TAMWA: Girls enrolment in primary schools up but
The enrollment of girls in primary schools in Tanzania has risen by 90 per
cent, but retention and completion rates are very low, according to Tanzania
Women`s Association (TAMWA).

School constructed in Mai-Aini sub-zone
A junior level school has been constructed in Adi-Seguagu, Mai-Aini
sub-zone, at a cost of Nfa. 7million. It comprises 20 classrooms, library,
staffroom, laboratory, office rooms and a store. The school can accommodate
around 2, 000 students.

Minister impressed with girls' school enrolment
The State Minister of Education, Joseph Murekeraho, has said that the
enrolment of girls in primary schools has gone up, following the
implementation of the Education For All (EFA) programme.

HIV/ Aids board game launched

The Ministry of Education and Sports and the German Technical Corporation
(GTZ), have come up with a board game as a fresh way of passing on
theHIV/Aids message.
