WB Aids initiative to be launched

KIGALI CITY: A World Bank funded the HIV/Aids initiative is set to be
launched in Kigali on Friday June 23. The Great Lakes Initiative on HIV/Aids
(GLIA) is set to be launched during an extraordinary session of council
ministers from member states.

U.N. AIDS chief sees new openess on HIV in Africa

Africans' increasing openess about HIV/AIDS is helping turn the tide against
the epidemic although tens of thousands still die needlessly, the top U.N.
