MAKERERE University will hold a special graduation ceremony for the 500
Bachelor of Commerce (External) degree students who missed yesterday's
graduation due to the rivalry between Makerere and its Nakawa-based business
school.

Network all schools by 2013 - Kagame
President Paul Kagame has said that all Rwandan schools should be networked
by 2013 and equipped with standard ICT tools and well trained facilitators.
He was speaking during the official launch of the New Partnership for
Africa's Development (NEPAD) E-School Project at Groupe Scolaire de Muhura
in Gatsibo district, Eastern Province .

Education empowers women
Should we condemn the traditions and customs that have acted as barriers to
women's advancement? There are some of these aspects that have made women to
believe that they are inferior to men, hence many do believe that they can
not become leaders. Unfortunately this misconception has been passed on from
generation to generation.

Labour Ministry's branch office provides school materials to needy students
The branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in the Central
region has provided different school materials and paid school fees to 1,600
needy students.

World Teachers' Day was today marked in Eritrea for the 10th time and for
the 13th at the international level. Speaking at the gathering held at the
Teachers Club here in the capital in connection with the event, the Chairman
