British Council's scheme develops young people's leadership skills
HER dream has always been to be a leader. But Mackenzie Ayato had no idea
how to develop her leadership skills. After her Primary Leaving Exams in
East Kololo Primary School , Ayato spent a year before joining secondary
school because her mother could not pay her school fees. She later on went

Ministry of Health receives CD-4 Counter HIV detector in donation

The Ministry of Health received a CD-4 counter H.I.V. detector in the form
of assistance from the Coca Cola Africa Foundation that scans the amount and
type of white blood cells in an AIDS patient's blood. The equipment is vital
in deciding whether or not an AIDS patient should take antiretroviral drugs.

Youth warned on HIV/Aids

NORTHERN PROVINCE : The Executive Secretary of the National Aids Commission
(CNLS) in Gicumbi District, Everest Kimenyi has warned the youth of
Nyankenke Sector against the spread of HIV/Aids and called on them to
practice abstinence.
