Eritrea
Grade 8 national exam concludes
The Grade 8 national exam that was held on June 26 and 27 has concluded. The
exam was conducted in 211 stations with 43,000 students taking part, out of
which 19,000 are females. The exam comprised four different subjects, namely
English, maths, social studies and science.

Rwanda
Kagame lectures school children
President Paul Kagame has urged children to be characterised by Rwandan
culture and become disciplined, saying that school knowledge alone is not
enough.
The president was addressing pupils of Kagugu Primary School in Gasabo
District, Kigali yesterday.

THE government is giving a team of Makerere University scientists
Shs8billion to set up a factory in Mbarara that will produce flour from
