ADB funds Kaliro school
KALIRO-The African Development Bank has donated sh400m for building four
classroom blocks at Namugongo Seed Secondary School . The headmaster,
William Wabusela, said construction would begin in September.

Uganda : 31 Scoop British Council Scholarships

USE gets sh10b boost
The Government has earmarked sh10b to enhance the Universal Secondary
Education programme (USE). The Commissioner in the Ministry of Education,
Yusuf Nsubuga, said about 3,000 grade five teachers and 1,000 graduate
teachers would be recruited in September to solve the problem of inadequate
staff.
